"It took Therese Cvetkovich only about a week to find an interior designer, after an email exchange with Home Solutions Connection, a home-design referral service in Alexandria, VA. The designer she picked. . . redid three bathrooms for Ms. Cvetkovich for $40,000. "I have a life," says Ms. Cvetkovich, a pediatrician in Arlington, Va., with a 13-year-old son. "I didn't want to sit down and interview a bunch of people. When I found this Web site, I thought, `This is perfect.'"
